DELIVERY AND RETURNS

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

Orders may be returned within 7 days after goods were received for a full credit or refund in the following circumstances:

-          The Item to be returned must be unused, undamaged and with all original packaging and labels.

-          It must not be marked in anyway or smell of smoke etc.

-          Item was received defective

-          Incorrect item was received

You must notify us by phone or email of your intention to return.

You must state your reason for return:

-          Incorrect item was shipped

-          Goods received were damaged

-          Other reasons (please state why) if you to exchange a delivery charge will apply for replacement. A replacement item collected in store is free of delivery charge.

Goods must be returned within 7 days of delivery.

Carriage costs for returning the goods will be your responsibility.

Goods remain your responsibility during transit and until signed for by us.

We do not accept returns of opened, worn, or used items or items returned more than 7 days after delivery.

All refunds will be processed within 30 days, however, we usually issue refunds within 7 working days from when the goods have been returned.

If it is agreed that the goods have been delivered defective, we will offer a refund or replacement.

DELIVERY

We use Royal Mail signed for, for larger/valuable packages and Royal Mail standard delivery for smaller packets and parcels.

If no-one is in, a card will be left to say where you can your parcel from. If you do not collect the parcel, it will be returned to us and we will then have to charge you to redeliver.

Deliver costs will be applied at the checkout, they vary due to size and destination.

We only post to UK Mainland at the moment, sorry no international postage.

All items can be purchased online and collected from the store in person if preferred.

Please save your purchase email as proof of purchase and a proof of ID (bank card used to purchase, drivers licence) will be required on collection.

PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE ORDERING A KAYAK OR CANOE

All of the kayaks and canoes are store collection items.

However, we do not have our own courier service but are happy to delivery sit on tops, kayaks and canoes free of charge within an 30-mile radius of Shields Paddling Company. Obviously we would have to arrange suitable time and days around our schedule but we hope to have your kayak/canoe delivered to you within 3 working days. All items will be packaged and protected for transport.

WE ARE HOWEVER, HAPPY TO PHOTOGRAPHY (A QUALITY CONTROL MEASURE) THE KAYAK/CANOE

AND PACKAGE IT UP READY FOR COLLECTION BY A COURIER OF YOUR CHOICE, IF YOU WISH TO MAKE YOUR OWN ARRANGEMENT FOR COLLECTION. ONCE THE COURIER HAS COLLECTED THE ITEMS THEY ARE NO LONGER OUR RESPONSIBILITY SO PLEASE USE A REPUTANLNE COURIER SERVICE.

The longer length sea kayaks are a collection only item, we are happy to package them in bubble wrap/protection sleeve for safe transportation by you. Once collected they are no longer our responsibility. We are sure if you are purchasing one these amazing crafts you are already involved in the sport and have your own sea kayak carrier if however, you don’t, we can arrange delivery with Shields Paddling company within 10 working days working around schedule. (small charge applicable)

ALL KAYAKS AND CANOES PURCHASED WILL BE DIGITALLY PHOTOGRAPHED BEFORE PACKAGING AND COLLECTION OR DELIVERY. A SOUND QAULTIY CONTROL MEASURE.
